The environment is one of the main concerns of the Mármol de Alicante association, together with its associated companies, in order to achieve a sustainable industry within the natural stone sector.
For this reason, the CIRCULAR ECONOMY is promoted in order to guarantee a productive industry of mineral raw materials that guarantees the security of biodiversity and that is compatible with protected areas. That is why our industry is a “green industry”.
The Circular Economy is a commitment to
society that embraces all activities in the
sector: from stone extraction, production,
distribution, consumption and reuse of
waste. Its purpose is to create a closed
production loop that ensures the safety and
continuity of the environment.
Rehabilitation of degraded areas and subsequent native vegetation.
From the association we dedicate a great effort carrying out environmental actions such as the rehabilitation of degraded spaces and their subsequent native vegetation,
managing to return these unproductive and degraded lands into a “green” environment. In addition, we carry out actions to develop its use in other areas that may be of interest and we carry out studies on its impact and results.
Environmental commitment to respect for our own territory.
The ultimate goal of all this work is to promote sustainability and development. Our sector has a strong environmental commitment to respect our own territory. It is an activity capable of generating actions of high ecological value and contributing to a good example of the new economy by offering a second life to waste materials.
