Mármol de Alicante Association of the Valencian Community in collaboration with Coex International Trade and with a grant from the Ministry of Sustainable Economy, Productive Sectors, Commerce and Labor has carried out the Study “The ecological nature and sustainability of the natural stone sector as added value for export” which details the practical tools necessary to promote natural stone as a sustainable and ecological product, thus providing added value for export.

We have carried out an interesting study focused on increasing and perfecting internationalization in the Natural Stone Sector of the Valencian Community. This study is subsidized by the Ministry of Sustainable Economy, Productive Sectors, Commerce and Labor.
This remains one of the main areas as there is an indispensable need to promote, make
visible and maintain the internationalisation activity of companies. This is done in order for them to have a strong development at international level and to promote marketing
within our sector. For this reason we continue to be in direct contact with IVACE
International, the Chamber of Commerce and ICEX.
We constantly participate in various actions organised by the Administration, such as the Go-Global Congress, which has gone from being face-to-face to virtual in the last edition. We also attend the most important trade fairs in the natural stone sector such
as: CEVISAMA (Valencia), MARMOMAC (Italy), XIAMEN STONE FAIR (China), ACHISTONE (Madrid) and MIDDLE EAST STONE (Dubai).
The association runs the “Stone Gallery ” initiative, which promotes the group participation of companies from the natural stone sector in large-scale events and trade fairs. This action is promoted by Mármol de
Alicante, Asociación de la Comunidad Valenciana, and has the economic
collaboration of IVACE Internacional and the Alicante Chamber of Commerce, through the Feder funds.
